Short answer

The SB Dunk Low adds a thick padded tongue and more cushioning (Sole Retriever describes a heel Zoom Air unit and forefoot foam), so it feels softer and snugger. The regular Dunk Low has a flatter tongue and firmer feel. Both fit true to size in length; wide feet may want half a size up in SB.

Questions people ask

Which is more comfortable, Dunk Low or SB Dunk Low?

Most guides call the SB more comfortable for long wear because of the extra padding and cushioning. Comfort is personal; the regular Low has more room over the top of the foot.

How do I tell an SB Dunk from a regular Dunk?

Look at the tongue: SB tongues are visibly puffier. The style code helps too: SB pairs in our catalog include BQ6817 and 304292 codes, while regular Lows include DD1391.
